Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change

Revolutionary Escalation Schedule

The noble people of Sudan,

Our triumphant revolution is reconstructing across Sudan; in cities, villages and, the countryside, renewing the covenant with our beloved brothers and sisters who despite their deaths live with us forever. The Sudan we all want and for which they have sacrificed their lives shall become a reality, a respectable sovereign nation.
To the tyrants who believed for a while that victory was theirs, we say, our people will rise up and stretch their wings, a phoenix, shaking off the ashes with will and determination, to recommence the journey and complete the revolution.

Our dear Brothers and Sisters in Humanity, and all those who stand in solidarity with the Sudanese people…

On behalf of the revolutionary people of Sudan, we would like to offer our sincere gratitude and appreciation for your solidarity and generosity, which we have felt since the launch of #BlueForSudan.

Yesterday’s press conference by the Transitional Military Council (TMC) was but a continuation of the misinformation campaign we have been watching in all their press conferences post the 29th of Ramadan massacre. Once again, the TMC demonstrates the same shortsighted approach of the defunct regime in adopting violence as the only answer to political problems.

The explicit and implicit threats voiced by the TMC’s spokespersons at the press conference cannot undermine the unity of the DFC Forces. They are only a clear indication of an ill-sighted approach in dealing with a crisis of their own making. TMC’s admission to ordering the brutal crackdown on protesters at the army HQ sit-in makes them the first defendant in this heinous crime.

The coup d’état -TMC resorts to a total shutdown of the internet service in  Sudan, including cutting off the landlines, which are the only remaining outlet for the Sudanese people to access the outside world and disclose the heinous crimes being committed by the Janjaweed militias and their sponsoring TMC. They are also the only outlet left to draw the world attention to the epical and heroic victories of the Sudanese people, culminating in the general political strike and civil disobedience.

We have received several reports about the continued campaign of the Military Coup Council in arresting political activists and protesters. The militias of ‘the security committee’ of the old regime, RSF and Janjaweed brigades have detained a number of political leaders and threatened them with assassination, in addition to the forced disappearance of a large number of revolutionaries whose fate remains unknown. This violent campaign of the criminal militias has also reached a number of employees of banks, electricity companies, airports, civil aviation, and other vital sectors with pursuits, arrests, and threats, in an attempt to break the planned civil disobedience and the general political strike through which all sectors of the Sudanese people have come together to overthrow the Military Coup Council and transfer power to a civil transitional authority in accordance with the Declaration of Freedom and Change (DFC).

As a continuation of your various and strong roles in supporting the revolution, and in concurrence with the civil disobedience, we ask you to boycott all embassies and Military Council representation posts outside Sudan, and to avoid any dealings that could provide funds to the Coup Council.

The Sudanese Professionals Association (SPA) today will not go back to the negotiation table with the Transitional Military Council (TMC) until those responsible for last week’s barbaric attacks on demonstrators at the Army HQ are brought to justice.

Our Sudanese people,
We are closely monitoring some poisonous calls by the Coup Council for resumption of the negotiations, in blatant disregard of the innocent lives we have lost.

Therefore, we unequivocally confirm that we will not sit again with the Coup Council.

June 4, 2019: The Sudanese Professionals Association (SPA) issued a statement that confirms the need for complete civil disobedience and open political strike, immediately, as the only measure left for the Sudanese people to hold the country from collapsing into total chaos and insecurity under the rule of the military coup council.
