Parliamentary elections will take place in Italy, tomorrow, on March 4th. There are different candidates from all ranges within political spectrum. Among others, Partito Comunista is providing an alternative for the working class of Italy.

There are different candidates from all ranges within political spectrum, including the Forza Italia of the former minister Berlusconi, candidates of the extremist right, social democrats and centralists, including the currently governing Democrat Party.

wftuThe World Federation of Trade Unions, which is the militant voice of more than 92 million workers in 126 countries worldwide, firmly stands by the side of the USB – Italy, which has called for a general strike on 10th November 2017.

The last weeks a series of trade union actions called by USB Italy, WFTU Affiliate, were banned, by the Italian Authorities. Last example was the ban of the demonstration called by USB for Friday October 2 against the plans of Rome’s Municipality to privatize its services. This tactic is followed by the Italian Authorities escalating the attack of the Renzi Government against workers’ struggles.
