The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela registers 113 coronavirus cases after confirming six new cases, informed Sectorial Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism Jorge Rodríguez on Friday, March 28.

These 113 cases have been detected in the states of Anzoátegui, Aragua, Apure, Barinas, Bolívar, Cojedes, Falcón, Guárico, Lara, Mérida, Miranda, Monagas, Nueva Esparta and Zulia, as well as in the Capital District and the Los Roques Archipelago.

Rodríguez explained that the Capital Region (Miranda, Aragua, La Guaira and the Capital District) records the highest number of cases (90). He called on the citizens to observe the social isolation measures implemented to stop the propagation of the virus

Likewise, he reported the death of two people in the Caribbean country.

Coronavirus cases in Venezuela have come from Spain, Colombia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Peru, Panama, Brazil, Chile, Switzerland and France.

Most COVID-19 patients in Venezuela range from ages 30-39. This confirms recent statements made by WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom to warn that young people are not immune to coronavirus.
