The Trade Union Confederation of Workers of the Americas (TUCA) and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), which represent more than 55 million workers on the continent, express their deep concern at the complex scenario that the Bolivarian Republic  of Venezuela must face to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the midst of unilateral coercive measures that considerably affects the health sector.

In this way, both confederations call on the United States government to cease the application of such measures that violate human rights, and that hinder the work of screening and fighting this pandemic declared by the World Health Organization.
