The Final Declaration of the International Communication Congress “Now Speak the Peoples!”, Read on Wednesday by Colombian-Venezuelan delegate María Fernanda Barreto, condemns the coup d’etat in Bolivia perpetrated under the direction of the White House and with criminal consent of the Organization of American States (OAS), and denounces the economic and financial blockade against Cuba and Venezuela.

“The blockade is a genocidal state policy of imperialism, aimed at subduing the peoples”, says the concluding document of the Congress, held in Caracas from December 2 to 4.

Upon receiving the march in Plaza Morelos, in Caracas, against the threat of application to Venezuela of the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (Rio Pact), Jorge Arreaza, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, defined this obsolete and interventionist mechanism as “the military expression of the Monroe Doctrine, as well as the Organization of American States (OAS) is its institutional expression”.

For the second consecutive day, alternative media and popular communicators from more than 40 countries gathered at the I International Communication Congress, which is held in Caracas.

In this same context eight work tables were presented simultaneously, each one focused on counteracting the media fence built by the great hegemonic media that seek to discredit Venezuela and the peoples that fight for respect for their sovereignty.

SPECIAL RESOLUTION ON TIAR

The “International Communication Congress”, gathered in the City of Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, from December 2 to 4, 2019, approves the following Resolution of solidarity with Latin America, the Caribbean and especially with the people of Venezuela, on the basis of the following considerations:

The imperialist policy of the White House develops, in collusion with the governments of the Lima Group and the criminal complicity of the Organization of American States (OAS), a plan of domination in Latin America and the Caribbean through coups d’états, the militarization of the region and the threat of the use of force against the peoples who exercise their right to self-determination and advocate an alternative model to neoliberalism.

“The relationship between the Russian Federation and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is deep and historical, from people to people, and from government to government, it is an exemplary relationship between the two countries”, said the head of the Venezuelan State, Nicolás Maduro.

In the act of Imposition of the Francisco de Miranda Order, in its first class, and the delivery of the victorious saber of Carabobo to the ambassador of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Fedorovich Zaemskiy, from the Simón Bolívar hall of the Miraflores Palace, the National President stressed that the two nations have increased bilateral trade in all these years.

“It is the extinction of life on planet Earth what we are facing”. warned Monday the Sector Vice-president of Communication, Tourism and Culture, Jorge Rodríguez, during the celebration of the 25th Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Emergency (COP25) 2019, in Madrid, Spain.

He recalled that Commander Hugo Chávez Frías emphasized the need to change the predatory capitalist system to contribute to the improvement and care of the environment and humanity.

The spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas were the scene this Monday of the “Panel of Communicators: Coverage of conflicts with class vision”, an anteroom to the International Communication Congress to be held in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The panel, which is part of the activities agreed upon the XXV edition of the Sao Paulo Forum, was conceived as an open space with attenders linked to the area in which, various communicators, recognized for their journalistic coverage in various conflicts in the continent, reasoned about the exercise of communication in the current political, economic and social conditions.

The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, spoke Friday at the International Congress of Young People and Students, held in Caracas, where he congratulated the effort to articulate the activity and welcomed foreign participants.

“You are at the epicenter of the transformations, of the resistance, but also Venezuela is the epicenter of the offensive. We have not been content to be resisting, and look that they have attacked us: attempted coup, threat of invasion, economic blockade, attempted assassination; but we are not on the defensive, we are resisting when appropriate, but we are on offense”, he said at the event.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, said that in Bolivia a Nazi-fascist sector has been imposed and it’s massacring the people, after the coup d’etat was consummated in the highlands, on November 10.

After the persecutions and threats of the de facto government that the Bolivian ultra-right tries to impose, chaired by Senator Jeanine Áñez, who proclaimed herself interim president, the Head of State ordered the withdrawal of Venezuelan diplomatic personnel in Bolivia, who arrived in the country Saturday night.

We energically denounce the invasion of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela this Wednesday, 13th of November, in Brasília, by a group of provocative and violent supporters of the putschist, self-proclaimed Venezuelan president Juan Guaidó. This is a criminal act and a very grave violation of international law, which guides the diplomatic relations between sovereign States.

Even more serious is that the extreme-right Government in Brazil, presided by Jair Bolsonaro, is conniving with the act. Previously, the Brazilian government had arbitrarily decided to welcome the representatives of the Venezuelan putschism in Brazil, giving the agrément to a false Ambassador to Brazil.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, spoke on Monday in reference to the events that occur in Bolivia, after the coup d’etat against the reelected indigenous leader Evo Morales was consummated.

Maduro recalled that the Bolivian president ruled a country with the support of more than 60% of the votes of the people, a presidential period that culminated in the month of January, when he had to swear as head of state again because he won the victory last 20 October.
